Twin Exhaust Tips
« on: June 19, 2012, 01:49:56 pm »
What can anyone recommend to clean the outside of the exhaust tips. I have the standard twin exhaust on a facelift petrol sport and the ends have gone black. Normal car cleaning does nothing. Any advice would be welcome. Cheers in advance

I used soapy water and aluminium foil which removed most of the muck.  I haven't tried any abrasive cleaners because I don't know whether the tips are stainless steel or chromed mild steel.

I used Autosol on mine yesterday and they came up lovely and shiny. :)
