Your service indicator and the DPF light are the same thing.
It is already flashing. So reset it with the oil change.
If you change the oil early next time, you can either reset it without flashing or just leave it alone.
It will not make any difference as long as you keep a diary of the mileage and change the oil within 12,500 miles or 1 year.
So if you change the oil and reset the DPF light now, and then want to change again 7,000 miles later, it is highly likely that the DPF will not flashing at that point.
So if you decide not to reset it but just change the oil, the car will be fine.
But if then decide to change it again within the next 7,000 miles, your total will be 14,000 miles and that will be beyond the 14,000 miles.
As a result, your DPF light may flash before you reach the next 7,000 miles.
I would reset the DPF with an oil change.
Then on your first drive, do the injectors calibration after you stop.
Do that only if the DPF is not regenerating at this point.
Otherwise wait to do the calibration on the next drive.
Do not do the forced DPF regeneration.
It is harmful for the engine and the DPF.
You only do it if your car has problems.
In exchange you add extra load to the engine but you had no other way of avoiding without removing the DPF.
Stick with the basics and if something works, just leave it alone.
