sport trim
« on: August 11, 2012, 03:23:28 pm »
Hello, doing a bit of research I want to buy a 08 mazda6 with sport trim.I'm in southern Ireland and I can get a 1.8 sport here but the sport trim in the UK is far better I want part leather trim and xenon's.I was looking on ebay, auto trader and uk dealer sites but can't find a 1.8 sport there are a couple of ts's alright but if i'm going to import i want a sport, dont want a diesel or a 2.5 petrol as the tax will be very high.Anyone know if i can get a 1.8 sport in the UK.Thanks.

If it's the newer model, then I'm pretty sure the answer is no.  No idea about the older model

I think you will find the only petrol Sport available is the 2.0L auto. I have one because I wanted an auto.

You won't find an irish car with xenons unless they were ordered as options. I know of only one that had them. I have a sport se but this misses out on xenons.

If you want something similar the closest you'll get on the irish market with an 08 plate is a 2 litre petrol Mondeo titanium x. Has a good spec, and you can get one to avoid the July 08 tax hike.

Sport Auto was only introduced in March 2010, before that all Sports were manual and the only auto was a TS2
