Genuine Mazda Dog Guard Fitting?
« on: December 17, 2014, 08:55:05 pm »
Has anyone fitted one of these before? I bought one at the weekend and went to fit it, I need another fitting kit for the roof lining, £12 each side. This things starting to get very expensive. Also, the instructions say to remove the trim under the rear windows and drill, then cut out a slot in each side.

Anyone got any tips on fitting?

I fitted this yesterday. Pain the arse. The instructions were terrible. Cut the hole out for the fixing bracket in the trim on the inside of the boot and the measurements were spot on, apart from the fact you can't tell where to take the measurements from. So now I have a large cut out in the one side. I've got to leave the load cover out too.

If anyone is thinking of buying one, I'd advise you not too unless it's cheap.

where did you get the fixing kit from.  most manufactures have them ready installed in the head lining, i bought one but no hooks to clip into
