Wheels - are these Standard or Aftermarket?
« on: October 18, 2016, 06:43:42 pm »
Hi Everyone,

New to the forum and a new Mazda owner.

Just bought a second hand 2011 6 Estate 2.2 Sport Diesel. Looks fantastic and so far so good.

Haven't seen these wheels on another 6 before so just wanted to know if they were standard?

Any thoughts.

Thanks in advance

They aren't standard 6 Sport wheels for that era, which are a sort of swirling snowflake design:

My guess is that they are Mazda optional extras. when I bought my one and only brand new car, a Honda Prelude 2.2i VTEC back in 1996, I chose to replace the stock alloys with optional Honda alloys that I felt looked nicer. They also gave the car a more distinctive look, but they were still factory Honda alloys.

Nice looking car by the way :D
