Wiper blades
« on: September 24, 2019, 07:31:22 am »
I was finally able to spend some quality time my 6 yesterday, gave her a proper wash / glass clean etc.

So what's with the old school wipers?  Did mazda fall out with Bosch? Or is there a practical reason why haven't used aerotwin....
I've ordered a retrofit pack from wiperblades.co.uk
Anyone else done the same?

Yes you can still fit the old school blades, if you want to save some money. It is like budget and premium tyres/cars/houses/clothes/shoes/etc. Everything is out there for the right price to catch the right buyer.

In the second generation car the first blades came from Denso. More likely to use something similar for the third generationcar but any brand will do as long as you have the right fitting.

As long as the blades are in good condition, they do not need to be aerotwin to pass the MOT and drive around safely.

All good points, thanks :)
These are defo needing replaced (streaks and lines everywhere even after glass and blades thoroughly cleaned).

I always stick aerotwin on when I buy a 2nd hand car, but I didn't think many new cars shipped without them these days (18 plate)
