Boot light replacement for LEDs
« on: April 08, 2018, 07:43:39 pm »
The Mazda 6 saloon has the worst boot light so I thought it would be a good idea to try and replace it for an led strip light. I managed to get the boot light loom out. Found out which was positive and Earth, led lights worked on the trial fit.
Went to do a full fitment and now they don't work, rechecked the original wiring and now not getting any power on either. Tried a test bulb with no success.
Can anyone give me some advice on possible might have gone wrong.
I've heard rumours of a module that controls things in the rear of the car that can be damaged but everything else seems to be working.
HELP as now have no boot light.
