Gen 2 pre facelift bumper question
« on: January 27, 2018, 11:45:53 am »
While cleaning yesterday I noticed that the rear number plate lights have quite a large hole that they’re clipped into, is there supposed to be some kind of cover there or is this big hole intentional? Seems like it leaves quite a gap for water and other rubbish to get into the bodywork

I have the same car and it has these gaps. There are only white/transparent covers for the plate lights but the rest is not covered.

Glad it’s not missing anything then! I’d have thought they wouldn’t leave a big like that there

It's exactly the same around the number plate lamps on the Gen 1 Mazda 3.

Look at life through the windscreen, not the rearview mirror.
