Musky Smell when cabin fans are on
« on: April 02, 2012, 10:58:54 am »
Hey all,
When i first got the car i noticed a musky smell when the cabin fans are on...
I have replaced the Cabin filter (which was discusting to say the least) but the smell still exists.
Does anyone know what else could be causing this smell? at some points you can almost taste it

Cheers

The smell might just be a leftover from the cabin filter not been changed.
You could try an air conditioning cleaner.
This is an aerosol that you release within the car with the engine running, aircon on full and all windows and doors shut.
They cost about £6 - £8 pound.

Could be mould developing in the a/c system...
