Smoke vapor from oil filler cap? Normal?
« on: September 27, 2016, 02:26:33 pm »
Hi,

I have smoke from the filler cap, A fair bit once first removed and then not so bad but still there. I have looked on YouTube and most are saying this is normal but is it on the Mazda 6 2.2 diesel? I take it it's valve blow by or crank case vent but worried it could be the Injector seals!!!!!

No noises from under the cap and looks and sounds sweet apart form a bit of chain noise.

Any body elses like this?

Cheers

Lee

All you need to do is pop the oil filler cap off with the engine hot and running, Can you tell me please if yours is the same ie blowing air and light smoke?

Thanks in advance.
