Gen2 BT ringing volume.
« on: August 29, 2017, 03:03:33 pm »
Can anyone tell me how the hell to turn down the ringing volume on my 2010 M6. The hang up tone is also ear splittingly loud. Is there a default setting that I can turn down somewhere? I have searched and read the manual but cant see it anywhere.

There is no default setting from memory. When the phone is ringing, use the volume control on the steering wheel which will reduce the level and should remain the same for future calls.

Your right, just checked it now, thanks. I think what the problem is, is that I have to turn up the volume while driving in order to hear the person on the other end and this in turn increases the volume of the hang up chime and future ringing volume. Its a bit of a pain as it means I have to turn down the volume each time before hanging up.
