Hi,
Having recently bought my CX-7. I was just checking and found that Mazda put out a recall notice for cz-7's back in August 2017, stating that the following:
"LOWER BALLJOINT MAY FAIL
Description : Water could enter the front lower suspension ball joint, which can cause noise from front suspension and in worst-case failure of lower ball joint. If this occurs, directional control could be impaired."
I can't see any documents or info in the paperwork I got with the car that says it was done.
How would I best go about finding out if it had been done or not? I've sent a message to the guy I got it from but he hasn't come back yet. Could I contact Mazda or a local Mazda dealer?
Thanks

Yes the dealer can check that.

Enter your number plate and go to "outstanding vehicle recalls". This will not give you the details of the recall though but the dealer will know what to do.
