Broken Grade 8 bolts in Radiator Cowling
« on: May 15, 2020, 08:37:00 am »
Hi all, this is my first time on this forum and I'm looking for some advice.
I replaced the radiator last week week on the Mazda 6 (Mark I) but unfortunately several bolts sheared off in the cowling,
deep in the recess,  I've tried HSS left hand drill bits but they're barely scratching the surface. Should I try another method or better bits, or would it be more time economical to just replace the cowling? Though not sure how the bonnet lock comes off yet. Many thanks.
