Hi guys I'm new to this forum and even to a Mazda as I've owned a fiat bravo 150bhp multyjet sport for 10 years.
To be honest I didn't even know there was a I stop system on my 6 when i bought it.. lol
Right the problem is that it does not come on at all.. no green light on dash no nothing. E loop works fine and shows charging so I'm scratching my head.
It's a 64 plate skyactiv 2.2td se-l
Thanks for any help you can throw my way.

Maybe you will find more information in the owner's manual but some people here have mentioned that if you use the windscreen air circulation, it deactivates the system. If you can figure out whether this works fine, maybe a dealer could demonstrate how it works.

Cheers apav.
But I have also read about heating direction in the car so I've tried all ways even with the AC turned off everything but it still does not work ... ????

Allan,
This might be a silly question but is the car in neutral when you are expecting the I-Stop to kick in?
For it to work, the car needs to be in neutral and without your foot on the clutch. If this doesn't work and you haven't got the heating set to the windscreen with the A/C on, then you need a dealer to check it.
Hope this helps.

Ai.
I have tried all ways to get it to work but nothing!!
What puzzles me is that there is no green i-stop writting on the clocks telling me that istop is there?
There is a video on you tube telling you how to reset the system but I'm a bit worried to try..
"Istop fix mazda skyactiv site:youtube.com".
What do you lot think ??
