Mazcare Wolverhampton
« on: January 14, 2014, 12:28:56 pm »
Just wondered if anyone had any experience of the above garage. My car is just coming up to 4 years old and I used to take it to Colliers in Erdington where I bought it, but these are nearer to my house.

Took the plunge and decided to give them a try. Car seems fine and price good (£183 for four year service and MOT including VAT), digital service record updated and friendly staff - something lacking from previous visits to main dealer.
Also quoted £81 for replacing front brake pads when due in a few thousand miles.
I would definately use them again.

Just replaced my front pads and discs ... on a 2011 2.2 180bhp Sport ...... easy DIY job. Genuine Mintex pads were around £24 from a supplier on eBay.

saddler25,
they would be nearest independent/specialist to me in shrewsbury!

they proper ex-mazda staff or generic people?
assume they used oem parts during the service?

reminds me i need discs & pads all round on mine! and i am not a diyer in any shape so would be garage job and like idea of a specialist doing as cheaper by a kidney or two than a stealer.

Mine is coming up for discs and Pads - so any idea on cost might be useful for me, before I start to trawl the garages for prices. So, if you will kindly post your "quotes" it will be a really useful guide for me. Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply, but have been away for a few days. The staff are ex.Mazda and only use genuine Mazda parts. Also can update digital service record. The two big advantages for me were the price and the pleasant nature of the staff - something sadly lacking from the main dealer I previously visited.

I would start a new thread or have a look threw (wrong spelling correct meaning) the existing thread on this topic
