Does anyone have experience of car alarm problems-I have a 2.2L diesel and the alarm goes off intermittently for no apparent reason

There are some old posts about this.

Some say that the alarm works fine and it is tiggered by the spiders living in the car.

You can switch off the internal sensors for the alarm - bottom button on the key fob. Try this and if it stops the problem, you either have a faulty sensor or a great big spider
