SCBS Inspection required
« on: January 02, 2018, 05:32:10 pm »
Hi there, new to the forums.

Got the SCBS inspection light coming on and while motorway driving the traction light also comes on. There seems to be a lag in the turbo kicking in as well at times. just wondered if anyone had any ideas??? many thanks.

Is it an early 2014 if it is have you checked the forums regarding camshaft problems check with main dealer re vin number and has vehicle had this problem sorted . SCBS comes up with most problems but the turbo lag could be serious so I would check with main dealer for diagnostic also keep an eye on oil level going up to the X mark due to fuel contamination cleaning the dpf. On all my diesels I have a intermediate oil and filter change to sort this problem and a lot of owners are doing the same.
Cheers Steve hope this helps.
