Have a mechanic check the Watergate on the turbo, it might be choked with carbon. Mine was cleaned and all the power came back.

So, my 6 passed it's MOT with a few advisories and the suspension still needs sorting but happy days!!

That was until today.....

Driving to work I noticed the throttle response stopped. I did my usual thing of parking up for ten minutes and it would usually be okay after that but not this time.

I now have no boost/power below 2500rpm. On an incline I am stuffed and can only creep along but otherwise it'll very slowly creep up to 2500rpm and then the power comes back in a hurry (probably because I've got the pedal to the floor).....

Is my turbo toast?

Thought i'd update this post.

As mentioned before, the power loss problem has changed behaviour.

Rather than suffering a general loss of power but it being okay after the engine being switched off for 10 minutes now I just have no real power below 2500rpm and then it takes off.

Someone told me to try running with the EGR unplugged. It runs no different but at the same time there has been no warning lights or codes...

No idea what to do with it.

Has anyone any ideas?

Cheers
