Mazda6

Hi I've bought a new m6 from Mazda Leeds.

I live in Newcastle - if there's a problem with the car, i.e. Squeaky brakes, can I take it to any Mazda dealer?

Hi Welcome to the Forum.

You say "new".  Do you mean new to you ? as your profile states the car is a 2011 model.   If this is the case you are now out of warranty and you can take your car anywhere you like to get any work done.
Including any other Mazda dealer

There are pro and cons regarding Mazda dealerships.  The pros are, the technicians have familiarity with the car and instant access to any parts required (subject to availability) And the ability to update your electronic servicing schedule.

The cons are that the recognised franchised dealerships are usually more expensive than an independent garage.

Most independents will offer to use genuine Mazda parts, but some will not have the necessary equipment to update the aforesaid servicing schedule.

You pays your money you take your choice. :)

Hi, sorry I'm not sure where those details have come from for the car. It's definitely a brand new m6 2.2d sport nav,

I just meant to get the new car glitches sorted that might occur, can I take it anywhere?

In this case you will need to go into your profile to change the details ..

Go to Profile / Modify Profile / Forum Profile and scroll down.  Don't forget to save the new details.

In answer to your question, yes,  you should be able to take it to any other Mazda dealer. But I would check with the supplying dealer first in case they could offer you any incentive to go to them.
Then make sure that your local dealer is ok with it first before committing.
