Title: looking at buying a 6 sport 2.2

hi all am looking to buy a 6 sport 2.2 for about £3500 or so .i have had a 6 before a few years back 2L diesel 04 plate which had a smokey engine to say the lease with a perpetual engine light on which was a EGR fault that i never did find route cause
any way £3500 going to get me around a 59 plate with about 90000  miles if am lucky what would you say i should be looking out for before buying ?

Buy from a franchise dealer and not from independent auction sourced cars.

Ask them what checks they have done to the car and get a list of works that need to be done.

Check the service history against the owner’s manual.

Check the timing chain and injectors’ replacement.

Be ready to pay £1K in repairs when things go wrong.
