Hi all,
I had a very lucky escape the other day! I brought a Mazda 6 2.2L sport Nav 66 plate on the 18th May 2021, it had 59200 miles on the clock. I was driving down the motorway on the 18th June 2021 when I began to hear a knock which got worse so I decided to pull off the motorway, which probably saved my life because the front passenger wheel fell off!
When the recovery arrived (RAC) they said they would need to take a wheel nut off each of the back tyres to secure the wheel to get me home. When he checked the other tyres he actually found that all the wheel nuts on the rear two tyres were also loose but the front drivers side wheel was absolutely fine. When I brought the car that wheel was changed because it had a chunk missing in the side wall. They also gave me a Pre-sale Inspection sheet which says the wheel nuts were all checked.
I was wondering what you guys think???
Is it even possible for them to come loose that soon, I have done 60600 miles now so it’s only done 1300 miles more.
Please help!
