Spark Plugs & Diesel Line
« on: November 20, 2019, 04:53:33 pm »
Hello, I am posting on behalf of my uncle who recently got a Mazda 6 2014 2.2 Sport Tourer automatic. Beautiful car.

We want to know how to replace the spark plugs and the copper washers on the injectors.

Also, if after doing this, will the diesel lines need bled?and will the injectors need torqued?

Please advise. Ps, don’t buy cars from Charles Hurst (dealer in Northern Ireland). “Fully serviced” car that’s been back a few times now had an air filter with leaves and grit likely from new and cabin filter black as night...

It is not possible to have spark plugs on the diesel. The glow plugs should not need replacement to such a new car.

There is saying about the injectors that the fuel lines cannot be reused.

There are more washers in the injectors than just the copper but and no matter what, you must torque them right at the end.
