Finally had my mazda given a full paintwork correction detail ;D

The picture's don't do it justice just how a good job has been done, the process involved a 1 step machine polish paint correction, then paint cleansers were used followed by 2 coats of Carnauba wax then a sealant.

Looks really well.
I have just bought a Kestrel DAS-6 for mine. Not going to use it as the paint is in good condition really bar crazy stone chipping. Did it make a difference to the appearance of those?

When using a rotary polisher you either go 1 step or if the paint is in really bad condition then you do a 2 step, this removes a lot more of the clear coat, so makes scratches/chip's less visible.
It all depends how deep your chips are, if only in the clear coat then they can be completely removed but if deeper then you can make them less visible.
