I've just purchased my first Mazda - A 6 Sport. 7 years old but with only 30,000 miles on the clock and Dealer Serviced from new by the original owner. So far I'm very happy although it's a bit different from my trusty old (and very tired) Laguna.
I have a couple of issues with it. The front tyres are slowly losing air. Are the valves a known problem with Mazdas as I had a similar problem with the Renault. Also the Hatchback has a habit of opening by itself although not when the car is in motion. Very odd.
Obviously I expect problems with a 7 year old car so no doubt I'll find a few more.
I tend to do all my own maintenance. I prepared and raced Formula Fords through most of the 80's and early 90's so am a fairly competent mechanic. I notice Haynes don't publish a manual (although they aren't as good as they used to be). I've had a quick search on the Forum and there's a bit of info but nothing definite of the location of any Maintenance Manual. Any ideas anyone?
