I just sold my 2.0 TS2 Mazda6
« on: September 15, 2018, 09:19:34 pm »
Today I part-exed my TS2 Mazda6 for a 2017 Skoda Superb 2.0 TSi Laurin & Klement.
It is in a different league compared to the Mazda, even if I compare it to the newest 6. More spacious, more kit and a lot quicker.
I loved my Mazda though as it never let me down.
I will keep an eye on the forum as it is a fun place to be.

Hi people,

just a small heads up. I have found my old car on Autotrader.
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201811192571654?postcode=w45rg&onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&radius=1500&make=MAZDA&model=MAZDA6&advertising-location=at_cars&sort=price-asc&maximum-mileage=35000&page=1

The advert states the car only had one previous owner, which is false it had 2. It also states it was only serviced by Mazda, which is also false. As I never took it to Mazda over the 3 years of ownership.

It was in fairly decent condition, but rusted like hell.

Any questions let me know.

Thanks

A lot of people are getting confused with the V5 statement of previous owners as it does not count the current one. But it is an easy trick for the dealer to uptalk by selectively using the information. It is the same for the service stamps. He found 8 services with Mazda and he is selling that.

It is amazing how he sells it for £2K+ of profit plus the finance and warranty commision. There was no way he could make such profit with cash buy. He is basically selling at approved used price to people who live near to him.

As you say, the car is rusty and when you part exchanged it, they could not sell it and it went down the auction route and now it is on sale for a profit.
