Key fob
« on: October 10, 2019, 08:33:44 am »
Hi
I have a Mazda 6 . 2008. The key fob has 4 buttons. The lock/unlock main buttons plus an alarm on/off and also a boot open button. Both my fobs are damaged inside on the contacts for the battery. I’ve tried buying one of the cheap ones off eBay but they are not the same contacts inside so I can’t use my circuit board with them. What I’m wondering is. If I buy a second hand 3 button fob off eBay, basically without the boot open button. Will I be able to program it to work on my car even though it’s a different design, I’m not bothered about the boot open button. Any ideas. ? Thanks
