Brake discs and pads recommendations
« on: January 15, 2017, 12:04:29 pm »
After looking at my discs and pads I've noticed they need replacing before the MOT in April.

I've looked at mintex, pagid, EBC and Brembo.  Mintex is £115 for all 4, EBC and Brembo are around £180 for all four.

What do you lot run or recommend? I've got the 2.2 diesel 2012 and tow quite a lot.

Hiya,

What did you go for in the end?
I have just been told I need all 4 discs and pads. If I go with Mazdas brand its £600 !!!!
What makes them better than other 3rd party brands?

I just had my stock discs and pads replaced with Brembo. Huge difference in feel and bite, worth every penny of a couple of hundred notes fitted (along with an interim oil and filter change).

Highly recommended.
