Headlights not working both sides
« on: January 11, 2012, 08:01:43 pm »
Hi All,

Just gone to get in my car, went to put the headlights on....and hey not working both sides?  Obviously i will check the bulbs in the morning, however i was wandering if anyone has had this problem before?  Side lights and full beam both work fine?
Seems strange that both bulbs could/would go at the same time

Thanks in advance

Mark

Not that strange if you think that identical bulbs will have same life expectancy give or take a little.
I had both headlights bulbs go within a couple of days in December.
If your bulbs are ok have a look at the fuse.

I think it far too early for a 2011 car to have both headlight bulbs fail. I would check the fuses first , they are so much easier to access than the bulbs. If they are OK there is probably also a relay which might have failed.
Good luck
Andy
