self levelling headlights

I have just got a 2005 mazda 6 2.3 sport 6 gears but when i switch on one of my headlights goes up and levels the passenger side doesnt its as tho its stuck at the bottom can i manually move it up or is gunna be a garage job no warning lights on or anything cheers :?

Sounds to me like the levelling motor for that light has failed.  The motors on both sides are initiated by the same servo linked to the same sensor. So if only one has failed that side needs to be investigated.

check the cable and connector leading to the levelling motor maybe it's loose.

wheres that not that mechanically minded but will have a look if it needs new motor any idea on cost cheers
