Auto Levelling Headlights Fuse
« on: July 27, 2014, 08:59:44 am »
Anyone know which fuse it is? Have had a look in the manual and cannot see it. Both lights are not levelling and are stuck in lowest position.

OK, after much searching, it is not the fuse, even Mazda says it is the sensor but at £300 odd from Mazda and £150 for a used on on ebay, there must be a better fix?

Can it be 'hot wired' to set the lights to the highest position instead of lowest?

And what happens when you have to carry a heavy load in the boot at night and are unfortunate enough to dazzle a police car ? Or anyone else come to that.
Look at life through the windscreen, not the rearview mirror.

My rear level sensor was broken, well, siezed so was not sending a proper signal. 2nd hand sensor from ebay for ?120 and it was fixed, until the front one broke - another ?120 from ebay.

Never had the AFS light flash though.

How did you know it was the front sensor?

Back one was siezed and the front one actually broke the arm. Still not got round to getting the front one fitted.
