replacement bulbs for 2010 TS2 side lights
« on: December 15, 2013, 07:15:45 pm »
Hi everyone!!!

I've just joined the site after buying a 2010 TS2 diesel Sport. I was wondering, has anyone any advice on how easy it is to replace the side light bulbs??? The reason I ask is simply because the main Xenon's looks so cool, they are only spoilt by the 'orange' glow of the more traditional standard side light bulb in the main headlight assembly.

I have seen these, http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/501-W5W-Xenon-Extreme-White-side-light-bulbs.html?bulb_search=car

Any thoughts would be appriciated, thanks!

Hi, I have a 2010 sport with xenon and when I bought the car 3 years ago I wasted a shed load of money trying to find high quality led side light bulbs.
I eventually discovered these and they are the best!
Osram 6000k led driving w5w

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0088XET0S

They are not the Chinese crap that are all over eBay!
You can get them in 4000k or 6000k I went for the later because I changed my d2s xenon bulbs for osram cool blue intense bulbs, so I needed a whiter light. The standard d2s are 4200k I think so I guess it is your own preference.
Hope this helps.

I bought the chinese ones and had no problems with them and they have been in over a month now.

These are in the door http://i.imgur.com/KG9vxbv.png

and side lights http://i.imgur.com/vT9lWFj.png

I agree the osram will be better quality but to replace all these would have cost £45 quid mine cast under £20 for 6
