Title: Body wrap or respray?
Post by: psychotic madman on August 28, 2016, 12:40:40 pm
Thinking of getting my 6 Sakata body wrapped. It is a 2006 car with a few marks on it and the paintwork looks a little tired now. Just wondering if anyone can give me a few pointers as to which way to go, either a full body wrap or respray. Does anyone have any experience with wrapping? Thanks for any replies.

With a 2006 car go with the cheapest option. If that is the wrap, beware of rust before it's done.

Thanks for the reply, sorry not been on, work. I was just wondering if wrapping is as good as a respray.

Does the car need a respray or is it just a few areas that need rectifying? If it is small areas that need sorting then why don't you try one of the companies that do small repairs etc. Little Knocks or Chips Away spring to mind. There are loads of companies to choose from. Then perhaps a good polish to bring out the original colour.

I might just try them, but i have contacted them before and they dont do work in the area i live in. Think i will put in my girlfriends address and see if that gets a better response. Cheers.
