Hi guys,

A bit of a non-urgent issue really, just being a tart.

I have a Petrol 2008 2.0 TS (147) and the badge on the back is different to the usual one I see on other 6 TS. Instead of just being a "6" it has a sort of V or arrow underneath the 6. I've added a picture of it so you can see what I mean.

Anyway, the chrome on the badges has bubbled and the 6 badge is cracked, so I'd like to replace it but can't seem to find a matching one. Is it an after market badge or is it meant to be different for some reason?

Thanks guys.

It appears to be a V6 badging from another make/model.

Did you purchase your car used? My guess is the previous owner put that on there.

Yes I purchased it second hand.

Thanks, that's good enough for me :) I'll take that one off and replace with the original design.

Thanks a lot!

Is this the culprit.      http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Chrome-Look-V6-Car-Badge-Decoration-Self-Adhesive-/310737188554

I agree. A previous owner has stuck it on to try and look impressive.
Look at life through the windscreen, not the rearview mirror.

Good idea getting it replaced - some people have no taste.

It looks like it has wings. "Red Bull gives you wings!"  :)
