2011 Mazda 6 TS Sliding armrest
« on: May 11, 2014, 01:02:56 pm »
Hi All

Can anyone clear up a question I have.

I recently bought a 2011 Mazda 6 TS GH 2.2 Diesel.
I see that on some of the Mazda 6 cars, the center armrest slides forward so it is more comfortable when driving.
Mine does not. Is this down to the model being a TS and not a TS2?

Many thnaks

Hi Rob, Mines a "58" 2008 TS and has a sliding armrest. Perhaps it was deleted from the TS specification when they face lifted the Gen2 models?

My previous 59 plate TS2 had a sliding armrest but you had to lift a catch under the lip to move it. My current Gen 3 Tourer also has a sliding armrest but does not have the catch.

My 2011 2.0ltr Petrol Takuya has the same sliding armrest. As above released with
a latch at the armrest end under the lip.
