Took delivery of my Gen 2 last weekend
Mazda 6 Takuya
2012 (facelift)
2.2TD
68k miles
2 Owners
I was looking at the Estate version which happened to be a Sport model (had Xenon lights, Bose Audio etc) but it had sold by the time i got there. I'm happy with the Hatch, plus it looks better IMO.
I've already been looking at the Garage Vary,AutoExe and Damd parts list, luckily for my bank account they only do pre-facelift stuff

Noice ! !

You may well want to look at getting a Mazda boot liner, they are heavy material and easy to clean.
Also if you have not got a board over the spare wheel place. Wheel fitted or not. A piece of M.D.F
will stiffen the present boot lining, which if like mine it just covers the gap where the spare wheel
would go. Hope that helps a little. New sets of floor mats, if needed, can be obtained via the net at
reasonable prices and seem to fit well.

I've got floor mats fitted (was the first thing I purchased). The boot has the retractable covers but doesn't have a boot lining/tray. I think I found them online for around £20 so will certainly be getting one of those soon :)
-
Also if you need any touch up paint for either body or wheels, Mazda do not do any at all. The internet
again is your friend. Not expensive.

Luckily I work in a Motor Factors, luckily we keep 22V Silver on the shelf (if not we can mix paint) :)

Removed the front bumper ready for the next couple of minor modifications

I've also replaced the reverse and rear fog bulbs for LED items. I've also fitted silvertec front indicator bulbs but the before photo doesnt really show how orange the bulbs were

A few weeks ago we took a road trip to collect some Mazda 3 MPS 18" alloys. I failed horribly with refurbing the worst one, so those will be done professionally at some point during the summer
