Water leaking into boot (Mazda 6, hatch back, 2007)
« on: January 12, 2018, 09:57:32 pm »
Background - My car is a 2007 Mazda 6 Kumano (the last model of the older shape).

So, I have a leak... somewhere. When I open my boot, water then drips down through the lock bit in the middle, but also, when the boot is at the highest, drips down and lands on the head rests on the back seats.

I have no idea where the water is getting in from... but it looks like the lights seal and also the back window seal is a little dodgy... could be both, or could be neither...

Is this a common fault?

If I put some clear silicon around various bits, would that work?
