The car looks good after a lot of work. However, it still amazes me when I use my waterless car cleaner/polish. I know I have mentioned it before on this forum but, the finish I get on my black mica 6 Sport is the same as you have achieved, but with a lot less effort. It takes me on average 45 minutes to clean and polish the car with one product. I've been using it now for about a year and there are no signs of scratches to the surface or any damage to the paintwork. The rain just runs of the surface so the protection is there as well. I don't think I will ever use water to clean a car again.

Excellent job! When you put back on the wheels, after cleaning, do you torque them up with a torque wrench? if so what LB/setting do you use please? The reason I ask is that my calipers look dreadful and need a coat of paint. Cheers.

I'm interested to see what sort of finish you get with your product because as far as I'm aware these products are nthng more than "quick detailers" which offer no protection at all. I bet in direct sunlight there will still be evidence of paintwork marring.

Hi Renton, I must admit I was a bit apprehensive regarding the claims being made on the TV about the product, so bought some to try it. That was over 12 months ago. The finish I get is great and as I said before, there is not a mark on the paintwork, even in the sun. My car is mica black so would readily show up any defect. The protection is, dare I say it, fantastic and builds up with more applications. Of all the polishes and waxes I have used in the past this is definitely the best. It's so easy to use as well. The car always looks immaculate and needs to because of the colour. I'm about to finish my 5th bottle of the stuff with a 6th bottle ready and waiting in the garage. Believe me, I wouldn't waste my money if it wasn't any good. My son, who is very fussy, has a black Citroen C5 and he uses it as well, so two satisfied customers.

Hi Bazzamf,

I would be interested to know the name of the waterless wash you use and your cleaning method. I've just bought a new Mazda 6 Sport in Brilliant Black and also have a 55 plate Mazda 3 in Black Mica and, as you say, keeping black clean is a nightmare.

Thanks in advance.
