Do 2010 facelift Sport 2.5 petrol models actually exist?
« on: October 05, 2016, 09:44:28 pm »
I have never seen one in the metal and nor on any advert - at least not in hatchback form. They all seem to be diesels or estates. I have seen a couple of 2 litre automatic Sports but that's as close as it gets. Was the 2.5 Sport hatch never introduced in the UK?

There are quite a few for sale on auto trader if I am not mistaken? And yes they were introduced here as I have one!

Actually I take it back they aren't on autotrader! I got confused by the alloys! But I am sure I have seen some later model 2.5 engine ones, maybe on Mazda used car locator site?

Thanks Andy - I collected a 58 2.5 Sport today. Very good price and only 68,000 miles, in excellent condition and it passed a paid for pre-purchase inspection with flying colours. I probably saved 2-3 grand on a facelift 2.5 Sport, if I could have found one. That may cost me the ability to stream music over Bluetooth and to not have the blind spot feature and standard parking sensors, but I will be fitting the latter anyway. Am really impressed with the drive too. It's such a big improvement over my 07 1st gen Sport.
