Your Mazda warranty is now out of date, so why use a dealer to service your car? It seems an awful lot of money, do you know what they are intending to do for it? If you do know, get alternative quotes from other dealers and independent garages. You might be surprised.

Thanks for the response they have stated oil and filter air filter cabin filter and they also state the injectors will need calibrating it is very low mileage!! 33,500 for a six year old car I have only had it two months.

You can replace the air filter and cabin filter yourself. It's very easy to do, it's not a dirty job and you can buy them anywhere. They don't have to be Mazda items. I paid about ?25 for the two filters for my car.
I'm sure any garage can do the engine oil and filter change for less than ?200.
Is the calibration really necessary after 33,500 miles? If the car is running OK and fuel consumption is OK, calibration may not be necessary. Perhaps someone else can throw some more light on this item. My car is petrol so not needed.

Is Calibrating Diesel Injectors something you have to have done on Mazda engines.?
Over the years have run many company diesels of various makes and engines. Normally
up to 100 k region. Apart from the odd injector failure, which they were changed.(Not a huge cost from memory) I saw all the repair invoices.
This was never mentioned as a requirement for any diesel engine, turbo or otherwise.

Seems a bit over the top, unless there is a valid explanation.?

Just a thought.

Thanks for the comments I checked my handbook and it doesn't mention the injectors so me need. I have now been quoted ?149 for all the other work plus a supplement for any specialist oil required. This will do fine.
