Help help help I have a creaking noise
« on: March 27, 2012, 06:20:17 pm »
Hi all
Hope you can help as I am going mad  :o

I have got a 2003 2.0L diesel Mazda 6 sport with 15000 on the clock.
It has developed a creaking noise on the front suspension someware,
I am guessing it must be a bush or bushes as the noise changes in different weathers (wet not much noise hot lots of noise).
The creeks happen durin stopping accelerating and steering but over 30 it's fine.

I have tried spraying silicon spray and wd40 on the bushes I can get to by liying under the car but it won't change it much.

Any ideas would be much apreachated as I am at wits end.

It sounds like it could be Your Wishbone OR are strut top mount... If you turn the wheel to full lock do you hear a clunking noise Or a crack like you have just drove over a large stick?
You laugh because I'm different.... I laugh because I farted!
