Finally gone and done it!
« on: January 18, 2017, 08:46:38 am »
Hi all, i have had a nightmare of a time with my first car which has put me off driving completely, to cut a long story short it was through family it was recomended to get said car and some facts were nonsense etc and iv had constant trouble with it. I decided its either get rid of it and get something good or its going to sit unused.
Well its going on friday and after test driving a few mazda3s and mazda6 i am now picking up my 2010 mazda6!!!!! Cant wait!

Thanks Steve mega excited!!!! Its a lovely car! Was a hard choice between a 6 and 3 for me, both great to drive but was a good deal and i prefered the bigger car. Everyone thinks its a wierd car choice for me and thinks i woulda got a sportier car but its all about reliability and after my crappy forst car experience im hoping this will be a good move

Yeah, Mazdas are awesome. I had experience with both type 2.2 diesels, and a 2.0 petrol. For performance the 2.2 MZR-CD engine was by far the best. Skyactiv did not work for me. But I use a apetrol one now which seems to be bullet proof. Also if you are buying the 1.8 what you say in your profile apparently that is even better than the 2.0. So well done!

Enjoy you new car, you will find plenty of records on here from people who have Mazda Petrol engine cars and the length of time they keep them, and why. They are as said pretty bomb proof.!
