Electrical problem???
« on: January 10, 2017, 06:56:41 pm »
Hi I own a Mazda 6 2008. I purchased it 3 months ago. However wishing the last few weeks without warning lights will flicker inside the car.( radio odometer clock) it can last for a few seconds or until I turn car off and on again. Any thoughts would be a great help

Could be a loose electrical plug. Does the flickering coincide with bumps in the road ? The term needle in a haystack does spring to mind.

Yep could be hard to find as said check if it happens when you hit bumps or on a bumpy road, Also check every plug connection that you can find including the ones under the front seats they quite often become loose or detached by the cleaning under the seat and not realising that they have been touched. Also check the battery connections are clean and tight. If it's a connection under the dash not only hard to find but watch you don't disconnect anything else also are the fuses clean and tight in the fuse box ? Hope some of these suggestions help.

I have a video of it but can't upload it. I will try them suggestions thanks. It can happen when I start the car, when I'm parked. Or when I'm driving so don't think the bumps have anything to do with it
