Hopefully a newbie

Hi I'm hoping to get a 2013/14 2.0 petrol mazda 6 not sure which trim yet.but it's definitely going to be white. I'm currently in a 2006 Toyota avensis 2.0d4d which has been very reliable but now showing her age. What I'd like to know is what to look out for on the 6 what problems are there. Thanks

Mazda 6 Petrol engines are known as being pretty Bomb proof. Personal experience been running one from early 2011, and apart from a yearly service, four Tyres, and a new Battery, nothing else to advise. They are also for a 2 litre engine decent on fuel. Full details on the Daily Telegraph Honest John's real m.p.g page.
Good luck and enjoy yours when you get it.

Cheers mate. Yeah have been reading HJ regarding the MPG which seems impressive for a 2.0 petrol.I'm looking for a tourer but hard to get hold of here unless it's a diesel and I'm not looking for another diesel.unless it comes with unlimited warranty on every part lol... will post up if I get the car cheers!!

Just signed for the 6 so should be getting it next week.although not the white 1 I was looking for but a sonic red 6. I thing is there's no spare wheel just a can of uselessness that is no good if your tyre has blown.anyways what is the wheel type for these?

Look at life through the windscreen, not the rearview mirror.

Thanks .it's crazy no spare in most cars now and the prices for the spare kit is ridiculous.
