Title: Missing handle to close the boot?
Post by: Dreamwing on June 15, 2017, 01:29:00 pm
Hi everyone (first post!)

I've always felt that the Mazda 6's boot is kinda heavy and awkward to close, and yesterday I noticed I have two small holes either side of the boot 'lid' latch mechanism which made me think - should there be some kind of a handle here that is missing on my car?

Anyone else have a handle here?

I don't have a photograph to illustrate what I mean, but hopefully if you guys do have handles and I do not, we may not need a photograph.

Hi

Mines a Tourer and a later model, has two had holes that are not particularly helpful as there is nothing to grab hold of in each recess

The  Five door 2010 Built hatchback has a hand hole on the right hand side of the rear door.

I have a 2008 TS model. All there is for closing the boot lid, is a recess on the right hand side of the internal boot lid, to stick your hand in. No idea what the two holes mentioned are for!
