Hi all, I'm looking for advice on this. My car is just 12 months old and has 30k km on the clock - about 19k miles. The car is running great however the front bumper, bonnet, wings A pillars and roof are destroyed by stone chips. I expect there to be some stone chips but the sheer number of them on a low mileage car is not boding well for the next 2-3 years. It looks like a car with 5 times the mileage.
Has anyone had any success with approaching Mazda regarding paint issues? I understand the paint finish is of a poor quality anyway but I can't help but feel that the finish is particularly poor on my car. I have had it in a dealer previously regarding three large stone chips in the middle of the roof - the paint seemed to be particularly thin but they found no issue and I understand stone chips aren't Mazdas problem but surely a €30k + car should be able to withstand more than light touch of a pebble. I can see my car requiring an extensive respray in the not too distant future.
