We got ours two years ago, 56 plate 2.0 (121)TS diesel. Apart from bulbs and tyres gone through two mots clean. Our only big bill was to replace the upper head gaskets when it got too silly topping up the oil fortnightly. Never had the DPF light on except for the service reminder.
Initially we were looking at a replacement for our beemer 2.8 soft top paddling pool! went great but so did the go juice, a great head turner but with my other half being on the road a lot more fuel, comfort and dry feet became a priority. A 2nd Mondeo was on the list but we were seeing silly prices. The Mazda we were shown had caught our eye but not enough foreknowledge to be pro model.

good nick all round at £5700 seemed reasonable. The test drive did the trick it may be the base engine but wow it pulled well, very impressive. We got more than expected on the trade in, a new mot and the deal was done.
No regrets. The old system DPF is scary but we've not had to watch the "X" mark ever, it's fast enough to add some points too easily. Hope to meet a newer 2.2 some time when it's needed until then we are happy bunnies.
