Hi all.
thought i'd add my story.
after having the dreaded flashing DPF light whilst 140 miles into france, tip toed the car home and straight into Perrys.
Welcoming enough, not too long to wait for the service, happy days there.
Not so happy with the outcome of the service though, checked the oil when the wife got the home and it was a couple of mm over the full makr on the gauge and therefore closer to the Top mark than it shouldve been. So i managed to find an email for the branch manager, sent him a "not happy-o-gram" and he was more than helpful and said bring the car back in and they'd drain and re-fill the oil to the correct level.
also on our bill was a charge for Screenwash??!?!!? I struggled to see why screenwash was needed in a basic oil change service!?!?!?
my wife did this, and while they did it they said to give them an hour and it'd be done. 90 mins later still no call so she went back to the branch anyways and then waited another 20 mins whilst trying to entertain our 20 month old son.
Then at last, service manager said car was ready, no bill to pay (i should bl00dy well think not!!)
She asked if all docs were in the car, to which the service manager said yes. so she got all set up in the car, baby in seat, checked the glove box, and no paperwork!!!
so out with the baby again, back in the showroom, and another rant at the service manager who apologised and found the paperwork "out the bacK".
So not for the first time, massively upset by main dealerships antics! tread carefully people.
