Aftermarket reversa camera - issues
« on: May 29, 2019, 07:31:13 am »
I have installed a reverse/backup camera in my 2015 Mazda 6 2.0 SE-L 65 plate (Great Britain). However, I'm having a few issues. The camera is powered by the ACC line via a fuse tap and the camera does get detected. However, the image is fuzzy (see attached photo).

I'm using a Connects2 CAM-MZ1-AD Additional Camera Add On Car Interface, link here - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/372486368042?ul_noapp=true

Along with a PARKVISION PRO Series Front/Rear View Backup Camera, link here - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B071R3HJ6Q?ref_=pe_3187911_264767211_E_301_dt_1

I've tried two different Connects2 interface cables and two different reverse cameras but get the same issue. I'm of the thinking that the factory headunit is PAL version but the cable and camera only supports NTSC. Not sure if anyone has come across this before?
