One house, two Sports!

As the title says. ;D

My son finally managed to get hold of a 2.2 in Aurora Blue. I'll have to tell him to join the forum! ;)

Very nice pair of motors  :) and after seeing them side by side I have to say I prefer the grille and front valence and alloys on the older model! and no I am not biased because I have one! what do you think about the interiors? I concede that that updated interior is better

Thanks. :)

Between me and the offspring, we both think the same thing. The older model looks sportier, especially in the colours you could get at the time, like this Aurora Blue and the Velocity Red. But the newer model is more classy, and yes the new interior is far better. Shame you can't have the new interior on a old model! :P

Lovely!

As a facelift model owner anyone else think the pre-facelift is a nicer looking car? Have the opposite with my father - trying to get him to buy a pre-facelift instead of a new diesel as he does minuscule mileage. He's coming from a very nice Mondeo though so its a struggle...

Best of luck with the new car though. Really is a beauty.

I think the pre-facelift is nicer looking, but I'm biased! :P

I guess it's one of those great debates lol.

I like Mondeo's but if I'm honest, Mazda's aren't as much of a common sight and are nicer looking. ;)

I prefer the grille on the facelift, but the fog lights / side grilles on the pre-facelift.  We also have two sports - Wifey's is a Mazda 3 (which I love to bits).

The 3 Sports are lovely cars, very underated!

I always think the facelifted grille on the 6 makes it look more refined and dignified, but less sporty. Still great though.

I've noticed that you have a "Sport" badge on your front grille, but mine doesn't  :(

Yes we added the 'Sport' badges on the front ourselves (genuine Mazda part, same as the one on the back) to make ours a little different.8)
