Trading my 6 for a 2015 Facelift Mazda6
« on: February 22, 2015, 09:38:14 pm »
Hi

Just wanted to know if anyone driving the pre-facelift model have experienced any problems or concerns with the 2013 model of the 6. Hoping to trade my 2010 2.5 petrol sport for a 2.0 Sport Nav petrol model. Any info or feedback would be appreciated

I traded my old Sport Auto for a 63 plate demonstrator Sport Nav petrol in September.
So far so good - the car is a lot more refined and more economical than the previous model (although that was an Auto). The overall quality of the car feels like a step up from the last model.
The only slight criticism is that the gearbox feels a little notchy when cold, but that could be down to me driving automatics for the last eight years.

Thanks for the feedback. Hoping to test drive the pre facelift car on sat before placing the order as they don't have any new facelift vehicles in stock :(

You are correct the gearbox is a bit notchy, nothing to do with changing from an autobox.
